The Financial Phoenix was launched with the idea that everyday should be pursued with a passion, good can come from bad, old is awesome, and creating something tangible is one of life’s greatest pleasures.

We love the architecture, history, details, stories, craftsmanship…the soul. The forgotten and neglected.

New Beginnings.

Fresh starts for people, for houses, for neighborhoods. The acknowledgment that we are always a work in progress and as long as we are living it is never to late to learn, grow, and make a difference.

Financial Freedom.

The flexibility to be free of financial constraints in-order to live the best life possible- rich with treasured people and experiences. To be beholden to no one but yourself and those you love. Live a life that is not about what you need to survive but what we can do everyday to live. 

About Me

I am a DIY girl with a passion for everything old, especially old houses. I am instilling that passion in my two little girls, much to the dismay of my husband.

As a nurse I have the opportunity to see the best and worst of humanity. I live with a persistent reminder that time is fleeting, everyday is a gift, and life is best lived with a purpose.

Here I pursue my passions while sharing my lessons along the way.

Laugh with me, learn from my mistakes so you can make your own, and take my successes as inspiration for what can be achieved in your own life or home.
